Diary keeping has a few simple rules that make the process of diary keeping easier. First and foremost, refrain from leaving your diary in common area. Even if you prefer to write in your diary on the living room couch, maintaining your privacy and your freedom of expression also means keeping your diary where you are relatively sure it won’t be intruded upon. Leaving your diary out in the open without guard makes it a tempting proposition for others.
If you write in your diary on a daily basis it is easier to keep yourself on track. While some people opt to enter thoughts into their diary when things are not at their peak, using it daily helps keep your thoughts and feelings in perspective. This helps you avoid long winded confusion and the myriad of thoughts that can often accompany those less than peak moments.
Do not share your diary with others unless you want your privacy invaded. Sharing even just one entry in your diary can give someone else the impression that you are perfectly fine with the idea of being open about your diary. Thus, the likelihood that they will peek into your diary during other times increases. We all know that a diary is an avid temptation to those who like to snoop, so don’t send mixed messages. Keep your diary private in order to keep your thoughts, and your entries, very much your own. If you feel a need for sharing, rewrite it or communicate your thoughts verbally.

The Lost Diary Found
A lost diary that is found years later is an intriguing and wonderful find. What if the lost diary you found isn’t yours? Do you have the right to read it? There are plenty of people who enter the diary with barely a second thought and then there are those who will allow the diary to call out to them with no avail. A lost diary that has been found, that doesn’t belong to you, and that hasn’t been read is like a ticking bomb of curiosity. You know you want to open it and gobble up whatever information might be waiting for you inside. Respect for someone’s privacy is the only reason that you haven’t opened the diary yet. How do you decide when it is acceptable to read a found diary?
In many cases it can depend on whose diary you have found, their relationship to you, and whether or not you have a chance of running into them with the discomfort of your new found information. In other words, if the person is still living and you know them you shouldn’t read the diary but return it to them instead. However, many people feel that if the person is gone or isn’t likely to ever be heard from again that it is okay to open the diary and read it. That’s interesting. We can’t respect the privacy of one and not the other, can we? But so many diaries that have been left behind have been published into fantastic works, and perhaps you are holding in your hands one of the greatest stories ever told. Reading someone else’s diary is an invasion of privacy. Reading someone else’s lost diary is also a mechanism for learning. I guess it is fair to say that whether you read the lost diary or not is a total judgment call. Judgment calls often imply that you might not love everything you discover.

Diaries and pernicious habits
If you have decided that too much smoke and it's time to throw, then it is a responsible decision, you can help me do with records. Glue small piece of paper in a pack of cigarettes. First, do not limit yourself in smoking but only carefully write down how you smoke. Mark the time and place of each smoked cigarette. What do you feel, do and think when you have the desire to smoke? Rate on a five-system, how to give you the pleasure of smoking. What kind of cigarettes you really smoked? Drawing attention to these moments, you realize that not all cigarettes brought you pleasure to the fullest. For example, smoking in the presence of non-smokers did not bring you any pleasure. Then you decide in the first place to limit ourselves in these moments.
First you must decide for themselves what benefits you are due to smoking, and find other sources of their receipt, before you quit smoking. What is this aspect of yourself, which is in need of smoking? Dorothy discovered that she simply must keep something in their hands, and are easily found for the other object, not as carcinogenic. Patricia knew that smoking allows it to look more mature and attractive in the eyes of men ... And she still smokes, when involved in a tense atmosphere of communication between men and women. Ted realized that he needed to feel deep and protracted, as cigarette smoke fills his lungs, in order to feel alive and real. He found no other way and continued to smoke several packs a day. Two recent examples may seem to you as a failure. This is probably because you think that these people had to give up smoking. I think you have missed significant time. Patricia and Ted met serious work. They understood the meaning of smoking, and took the free decision as a result of this realization. You can not approve of their decision, but it is not important. After all, they themselves are responsible for their lives.
